HAMS Evening of Nonsense

An Evening of Nonsense

In August 2015 HAMS presented their first ‘Evening of Nonsense’, a one night only show that included sketches, rhymes, readings and songs. The evening proved a big success and ‘Another Evening of Nonsense’ was performed in August 2016.

The show is an eclectic mix of material proposed by cast members and can range from music hall to modern, wacky to weird, and well worn to original. The final content being based on fellow cast members responses during evening get- togethers. There is no commentary or introductions just continuous fun and entertainment.

Thanks to everyone who came to watch our third Nonsense evening ‘Yet Another Evening of Nonsense’ on Friday 25th August 2017. It was a SELL OUT again and you were a terrific audience. We certainly enjoyed ourselves and greatly appreciated your very complimentary comments afterwards. All profits went to ‘Bloodwise’ a charity for research into leukaemia and lymphoma in memory of our colleague John Stanley. I can confirm that with profits from ticket sales, bar receipts and generous donations we sent ‘Bloodwise’ a cheque for £1000.

Tremendous, thanks to you all.
